Volunteering at the Garden Railroad

Join the FGGR Volunteer Crew

The Fairplex Garden Railroad Volunteers consists of a dedicated group of men, women and young adults who volunteer many hours of their time to assist with the development and the year-round maintenance of the railroad.

If you enjoy gardening, model railroading, want to learn about the hobby of garden railroading, or just enjoy the companionship of a great group who share common interests—consider becoming a Fairplex Garden Railroad volunteer.

Participation is open to all adults over 18 years of age and to young adults 14 to 18 when the parent, grandparent, or legal guardian is a regular volunteer. This is not a club. Volunteering is making a commitment of your time and talents throughout the year on a monthly basis and during the L.A. County Fair in the month of September.
