After 6 months of hard work, the Pomona station is back on the layout. This metal building was originally built in the 1950s and has gone through several repaintings. This time, however, the building was completely disassembled and stripped of all paint. The building was primed and reassembled then painted. New windows and doors were 3D printed, copying the originals. New roofs were also made using Precision Board carved panels. Finally, new lighting was installed which should make the building stand out at night! It is a busy station as one can tell by looking at the people inside! Thanks to all of our volunteers who helped with this big project.
